Coriolis participates with three talks at AAPS PharmSci 360 event

Our scientific advisor Prof. Dr. Wim Jiskoot, our CTO Dr. Tim Menzen and our lyophilization expert Dr. Matthias Lucke will give talks at the AAPS PharmSci 360.

At this years PharmSci 360 event organized by the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) in San Antonio, Texas, from 1. Nov – 7. Nov. 2019, Coriolis participates with one key note presentation and two rapid fire talks.

In the key-note presentation “Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products: How Advanced are they Really?”, our scientific advisor Prof. Dr. Wim Jiskoot will introduce the exciting new field of advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs), highlight differences between ATMPs and classical biopharmaceuticals, and discuss issues related to their production, formulation, characterization, immunogenicity, storage and handling.

In a rapid-fire talk, our CTO Dr. Tim Menzen will examine the question “What makes Polysorbate Functional? Impact of polysorbate80 grade and quality”. His presentation will dive into the findings outlined in his recent Coriolis publication. In another rapid-fire talk with the title “Heat Flux Sensor to create Design Space in Primary Drying” , our lyophilization expert Dr. Matthias Lucke will show unpublished data about the benefit of heat flux sensors during lyophilization process development.
